Weird, I had an emergency cat bath situation at my apt on Christmas eve....   was there a pet conspiracy??

Musta been. We were getting ready to go to my moms and Keith decided to bring the dog. He askes her if she'd like to go for a ride and she urps right at his feet.  So after I clean up that mess I say I think we should leave her home I don't want her upchucking everywhere else too.
Keith insists we bring her.
The whole ride over Zoe's acting really strange, couldn't sit still, kept yawning, weird look on her face. I was getting really nervous. We get to moms and I let her out in the back yard. It's fenced, so I sit down to visit. She'll come back to the door and bark when she wants in. About a half an hour later I decide to go look for her cause she hasn't come back. I step out the door and holler for her, and she comes running up from the far end of the house covered in mud!! I'm talking head to toe!
Then she got closer and I got a whiff of her. HOLY CRAP!! Not all of that was mud!! I've smelled hog farms with less offensive odors.
Needless to say I had to toss her stinking butt in the tub immediately, exactly what I wanted to do before dinner. What the heck was that dog thinking? And why didn't I make my husband bathe her since he insisted we bring her?

Okay, mine wasn't nearly as bad but we'll just say a bad reaction from a shot lead to a mighty rude awakening for me , a thorough washing of ALL my bedding (pillows included) and the cat in question. But I couldn't be mad, he was definitely feeling bad, it was a pathetic site
