I don't mind it. It certainly needs tweaking, but considering that I'm usually opposed to change and I don't mind it... that says something, no?

That is a matter of opinion.
I would not characterize the change as "looking better".
I find it rather confusing with a loss of some functions I found helpful. Way too much RED

Well, it's not RED, it's more MAROON.
I've tried to keep the entire color scheme. So the table headings are in maroon. I can try some gray scale schemes, but to be honest it looks miserly without some REAL color.

Why doesn't it show who starts a thread? That's a major downer. I mean, how will I know which threads to avoid because some annoying person started it??? Just kidding. But really, that's a huge thing that needs to be changed.
Unless I'm an idiot and just not seeing where it shows the starter....(totally possible)

The thread starter and last poster are the big thinks lacking. (otherwise I would have avoided this thread that Molly posted in.  )
And you know...the color scheme seems to match the red moreso than the maroon...

Yeah why don't just put a bug O on it too and we can call it the Ohio St. running forums!! LOL
