What are you talking about? My last game was in '93.
That Jordan fellow better stick to AA baseball.
But seriously folks, we should make a poll:
Which was your favorite Jordan retirement?
1. First Bull retirement - shocks the world
2. Pro baseball retirement - we all saw this one coming
3. Second Bull retirment
4. Wizards retirement

He was the world's greatest--just as the best hockey player to ever lace up skates probably played his last game a few weeks ago
So long Mario--thanks for all the great hockey

OK, I'll take the bait.
He used to be the world's greatest. Now the world's greatest player wears #8 for the Lakers.
If you mean the greatest of all time. I still disagree. He was also a Laker and wore #32.
Michael was certainly the best one on one player. No doubt about that. So maybe he is the greatest single player of all time.
Since basketball is a team game(last I checked) I would rate Magic Johnson as the greatest team player of all time.

Well, Junior is my very favorite player in the NFL, and the only charger whose jersey I have. He is everything you would want in a player, and I can say this...
It's probably good for the team. Junior has had injuries in each of the last 3 seasons, not saying he's injury prone, but he has tremendous pride and wants to play through all his injuries. This causes him to be a little slower and blow some plays. Hard to say, but true.
I know some charger fans are saying they didn't get enough for him (6th rd pick, I think), but something is better than nothing, and they were going to release him in June anyway for the reasons mentioned.
Woa...we really hijacked this thread now.

How many titles did Magic win?
How many did Jordan win?
Magic had Kareem while Jordan had Pippen.
If you go by team success, then Jordan is the best player ever.
Actually, that would probably have to go to Bill Russell. He brought more titles to one team than any other.
