Pebbs does not lie to her, besides the first hill which she clearly described, North Park is a rolling course......
as for the Great Race
The start is about a 200 yd slight uphill then downhill and flat for about 3 miles, a small grade for about 1/2 mile, then all down hill to the finish....

I found my brochure about this race when I was cleaning last night. Early bird registration ($16) is through tomorrow, July 16, per the form.
Online registration doesn't mention the early-bird discount. The online reg fee is VERY reasonable at only $.85!! For more info: www.rungreatrace.com

Your half is two weeks before; why not do the 5K? I'm running the Philly half the week before the Great Race's 10K; you can do it. And you'll PR, no doubt. Even if you don't choose to run, you could still come for the big get together.
