A successful, cheerful and spirited dog once favoured by the working class because of its courage, vim and playfulness.
The fox terrier is medium in size, well tempered and sociable; it makes an excellent watchdog and rodent killer' there is no finer or more uplifting companion in the world for a person who is out of sorts or out of step with society.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I must agree, completely.
The best dog that ever owned me was a WFT:
Although he wasn't a "smart" dog, he could read me like a book and was brilliant in other ways.
I can't even look at one without crying--so many memories. They are truly amazing dogs. They think they're the size of Great Danes while only being about 30 pounds.
And Tri: those boys can jump! It's amazing--from a standstill to a countertop in the blink of an eye--and all to get a squeaky alligator that was confiscated from him.
memories. *sigh*
