About to leave Paducah, KY, for East Prairie, MO, for a cycling event. Think happy thoughts while my husband and I engage in our first long ride together.

Much fun was had on the ride, i.e. no mishaps, no blood. A. enjoyed the thirty-mile ride and I'm hoping he'll try the Tour de Cape in October, too. We didn't make good time, but we took it easy and spent a little time gettin' high in the corn. The ride organizers served roasted corn at the last rest stop -- Mmmm. Right on.
We split East Prairie and headed to Cape Girardeau. There, we saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings for hot wings and beer. Sucked that we had to go to another freakin' state to enjoy these things, but, such is life.

I wish! The cheapo 2mb digicam I used at the tour last year (where the "kick bio" page image was taken) has since commited hari kari. A digital camera is definitely high on my list of goodies to buy.
Even if I did have pics, you'd have to REALLY be into corn to enjoy them. C0rnp0rn, anyone?
