First, logically following the title of the thread, the announcement:
We're. Moving.
LC went to the prospective library on Friday for an interviewer, and she was offered the job then and there. After wisely consulting with yours truly, she accepted. On Ocotber 1, she starts as Assistant Director of the library, as well as being Childrens' Librarian.
Because she got this first (like I would get promoted by my own merits  ), this means in all likelihood I can get a transfer to a local office of my choosing there (and I have selcted the three most likely). Shoot, even if they try to screw me and deny the transfer, I'll just quit and wait out the two or three years before I start drawing my pension.
Now the contest:
Guess where. All you need is the state (as mentioned elsewhere, we're not sure yet what town we'll live in there). We'll even give you a clue from a song. The line is
It's so cold in the state of ___________________ .
All you have to do to win is name the state and the band who came up with that sparkling lyric. The winner gets to do something or other at our new place. We haven't figured out what yet, so we'll tell you when you show up.

Massachusetts has 2 seasons: Winter and the 4th of July. I just got back from there, so I'm going to go with that. You're moving to MA!

as for the move, i'm googled out.
there are no such lyrics on the face of the lyrics planet.

A site posting the band's lyrics claim the line is "It's so lonely..." But I had the album in college (another clue! and I think I still have it (!), and the line was sung as "cold".

My fault - that should be my comment above. We're alternating between this, Prisonbreak, and cleaning up the downstairs (we finally finished painting it a couple hours ago).

The library is near Kennebunkport, vacation spot of the Bush family. Maybe I can get a job making sure those Bush girls behave repsonsibly. 
For those unfamiliar with the state, it's in the southern corner.
