Am I right in saying that this year the teams are couples? Why oh WHY would you test your relationship this way? It just seems like a baaaaaad idea. Thoughts?

They had some couples in past seasons, too, but I agree that it would be a bad idea. An even worse idea would be to go on Fear Factor during a couples competition.

Because would you really want to kiss your partner after they'd eaten an Yak's eyeball?

How about that show called something like "the Love Test" where I think they challenge the couples to see how strong their commitment is?? Why?

I don't KNOW! I don't understand it! Are people really just fame whores? I'm a realist - there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. For me, it's about acceptance and not messing with a good thing.

I agree, I think life provides plenty of challenges on its own....
Sort of a tangent but on the fame whore line of thinking....have you heard about the WB Superstar show? Its a singing show with an American Idol format, except they have it narrowed down to the worst on purpose (without the singers realizing), and apparently at the end they are going to tell the winner "Congratulations you are the worst singer in America" right as they think they have won the whole show. Seriously, how is this entertaining or funny? Why do people put themselves in these situations??
says the girl who applied for the bachelor...but I was young and needed the money....

That show is oddly entertianing. I sort of feel bad for them, but then again, it is kind of funny seeing how badly some of them are...and i guess what makes it funny is that they really think they are something special and that they are going to be a huge singing success. Seriously. Most of them seem to have huge superstar type egos, but there is one guy who is sweet and awkward, and we feel bad for him. Up until the last episode, there were two people from Minnesota in the final 4. *sigh*
