My muzak keeps getting interrupted by messages about "all representatives are still busy handling other customer's calls. Please hold and your call will be answered in the order it was received." Gee, really? and I thought I was listening to this music because someone thought I would like it.
Currently some mandolin to a sort of samba beat.

i don't know which i find more nauseating, the muzak or the constant interruption "all of our representatives are still ASSISTING other customers" it's that word ASSISTING -- it pushes me over the brink.
deep breathing is all i got at this point

Apparently SBC employees are bitter to be working this week. Everyone is snappy today.  So this latest woman put me on hold to...get this--Bryan Ferry's avalon AGAIN!  I get it. Whatever I did wrong, I'll promise to not ever do it again! Mercy! Just don't play this song ever again..

I don't even know what I'm holding for now. The latest rep put me on hold again after sassily telling me it wasn't her job to fix my account. When I try to explain further, she interrupts with "I really do believe you" Right. what? man I hate customer service.
and now....bryan ferry, singing is smash hit "avalon" I'm not even joking.
When they find my lifeless body, clinging to a phone, tell them SBC killed me.

Ask her to transfer you to whoever's job it is to help you.
