It's not that scary, but I remember sitting in orientation wondering WTF I'd gotten myself into.
It's hard as all get out, for sure, and I still question my sanity (even as I'm emailing all sorts of people from our WED office asking to ADD a course to my next semester) but I am loving it. Good Times!

Do you have to go or is it just something you wanted to do? Really, it's a matter of personal preference kinda. I beeyotch about it all the time but I do enjoy the intellectual stimulation and in my field of choice an advanced degree is non-negotiable.
I know you could do it.....but the question remains whether you really want or need to, I think.

Can you maybe just take a class here and there in things that interest you, rather than focusing on a specific degree program? Or is it better/easier/more productive to read on your own, watch the Discovery Channel, stuff like that--more experiential?
