My mind. I apparently mailed my already late monthly parking invoice back to the parking people yesterday with no check. My check is right here. Thinking that clear takes some hard work and skill
I'm calling this my Thoreau-esque protest that my company doesn't automatically pay for my parking, that I actually have to pay to go to work. Yeah....thats it....

My place de-activates my card if they don't get it by a certain date. I can't remember what date that is but I have pushed it there before....

Cycle in in pantyhose and heels? Leave my bike in my cube after carrying it up 28 floors? Smell so fresh and clean all day? Yeah...I'll mail my check...

You paid $6.43 per day in the month of June to park? What a rip-off.

In the bayou city as well. I could pay $275 to park in my own building but I park 4 buildings over and pay $90/month and thats with the special negotiated rate 'the man' got for me. Gee, thanks, thats so much better than you just outright paying for my parking like every other company downtown does

My company doesn't pay for parking (and I don't think many companies do here in Atlanta). My group might be moved to one of our downtown buildings (which would require pay parking). I don't envy having to pay ~ $100 per month to park downtown or the hassle of mass transit (which conservatively would add approx. 2 hours a day to my commute).

I would have to pay 65.75 each pay period (2 weeks) if i drove.
i don't pay, and it's closer than my old assigned spot too. so i save 20-30 minutes a day as well.
geta bike and some Dove Wash/Wipes. i am sure there is a spot to lock the bike up in the garage of the building you work in.

I'm only ~ 8 miles OTP. I get the best of both worlds, as I see it.
I think I would grow (very) tired of the limited dining and entertainment options in suburbia.

I pay to sit on the turnpike. Several accidents a week above the major congestion. EZPass (electronic payment) does make for easire tolls once you can get to them.

Yes and that's on the cheap side. If you go closer to downtown, near City Hall, its a heluva lot more, and when there is a big convention in town (not that any come here anymore) the parking usually doubles.
Its still cheaper for me to drive in and pay to park than to take public transportation.
