Seeing as our Thanksgiving is in the first week of October, and it is still relatively warm here at that time...

We go to a friends Summer place and have Thanksgiving outside with Friends and Family - there are usually 40-50 people there. We Deep Fry our Turkey - which is surprisingly NOT greasy... As many veggies that you can think of, at least 10 different pies...YUM

I want to do Thanksgiving again!

We spend all of the holidays with the same people. They are not our immidiate family but my mothers Best Friends family, we get along with them much better Smile

Take bets on who will:
a) get drunk first
b) throw the first punch
c) end up shirtless in the back of the cop car

LOL

I traditionally pig out, do most of the dishes since I don't cook and then I take a nap while the football game drones on.

Sit around and be bored with people you'd rather not be in the same room with. Then there's the "Alices Restaurant" hour.

Thanksgiving = Thank God I only have to hang out with these people on the holidays.
