is today. She's out all next week.

They rented a Mayflower moving truck, and they're going to put tables inside the truck to have their party ON THE MAYFLOWER!

How fun is that?

I'm actually ok with it. I think the teachers have professional days Monday and Tuesday, but the kids are out all week.

They're out two weeks. I'm pretty sure. She's doing magnificent at the new school. She has lots of friends, she can't wait to go to school in the morning, the teacher loves her and keeps me informed on what's going on, 100s in all but one subject; handwriting, and it's only her PRINTING. Now that she's learned cursive her printing is illegible.

She has gotten in trouble (i.e. had to move her clip - their losing of privileges method), but it's always for talking out of turn when she's supposed to be quiet or after several warnings.

We are very pleased. She's a different child.
