Posted: 01/05/05 - 20:58 Post subject: Term 2 courses and upcoming graduation
At last I finally got the courses I wanted..the online student service center was just malfunctioning last night and I was able to add/drop classes today. This semester is going to be a very easy one compared to last term. I just switched from honors to majors (my project wasnt working out too well, I'm behind in my lab work and the due date for the thesis is in early March) and I needed to take 3 elective courses in Arts/Science (non-biology related) and I'm graduating this April!
Courses: Anthropology 140: Human Origins
Classical Studies 350: Archaic/Dark Age Greece
Earth/Ocean Sciences 112: Fluid/Atmospheric Earth
As for plans after graduation, I'm currently contacting a few of my previous supervisor I worked with last summer and my fish biology prof from last term to see if I can work in either one of their labs as a research assistant for a while. I'll probably take a year or 2 off from school and decide whether I want to carry on with a Master's.

Glad things are going well for you Tim. That sounds like hard stuff to me though.

Graduation!! Hoowah
Just a possibility to consider; it's not unheard of to find an employer that will pay for a masters program, so you might want to backburner that program and save yourself some cash and find someone else to pay for it later on.
