Most of my calcium intake comes in the form of milk. I probably do 2 8oz. glasses of skim milk in a day. Since I've already been the vicitim of a stress fracture once, should I be upping my calcium to help prevent a similar injury in the future?

One thing that my nutritionist pointed out to me is that I am not getting enough calcium from food. I take a 1000mg supplement. So she has me drinking at least 16 oz of milk a day. Good for the bones, especially with the beating we put our bodies through.
