I was flipping around the channels tonight and I ended up on TNN and they are showing a show from Japan called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. This is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. It is a japanese show dubbed into English that shows some contest where the people basically get beat up for prizes. Has anyone else seen this?

Nope,
The had to do stunts where they had to start a ball rolling down this track with a whole bunch of pegs so it bounces all over. While the ball is rolling down, they had to run to the bottom of this wall and then they tried to guess where it would come out, stand underneath and try to jump out and catch it before the ball fell in the mud. (Really hard to describe without seeing it) Another stunt involved running along a course where you had to jump gaps, avoid large balls that were swinging on ropes etc and get to the end. The final stunt was to jump on a surfboard that was on the end of support that was moving in a circular motion. The problem is that once you are on the surfboard and riding it, you had to jump a couple of obstacles and then land back on the surfboard.
It looked kind of painful if you missed the landing and fell in the water/mud below.

Sounds like the show should be named "Japanese Gladiator"

I've seen clips of this show as segments of other shows. Some of the things they do seem downright barbaric and dangerous.
But then again, anything for a quick buck, no? Even dodging bowling balls?

It reminds me of "The Simpson's" episode where they go into the Japanese game show to win plane fare back to the US.

Even there commercials are no longer kid friendly. Watching Bond movie I had to switch channels everytime a commercial came on because it is always Stripperela and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I don't really feel like explaining these concepts yet.
