I remember some kids getting sick from JitB when I was a kid or young adult, cannot recall, one may even have died from undercooked meat. We have those here in Charlotte, but I won't buy their food because of this.

When I was a teen, we went to Long John Silver's, and my chicken leg was practically raw. So we don't eat there. Evah.

That's what you get for ordering chicken at a 'seafood' place. Razz

Steak 'n' Loaf, Calgary, Alberta.

On our honeymoon, we thought we'd go there for a dinner. Went in about 2:30, and were maybe the other couple there. We were at our table until 3:30 or 3:45, and no one came by to take our order. So we walked out - the only time we ever walked out a restaurant for bad (in this case, non-existant) service. The 'Loaf' in the name apparently referred to the wait staff.

Food - can't remember the name, but I had a breakfast of sunny-side eggs served, and the eggs were the same temperature as the milk.

Not a big fan of Dennys, but White Castle is worse because of the burgers do to your digestive system (if you don't know, let's just say they digest a little too quickly).

I've been dissatisfied several times (Cattle Company), but nothing that comes to mind as worse. Maybe Papa Murphys or Dominos just they're just nasty.

Mr Aire got served glass inside his Chimichanga once at a Mexican place in Napa. (At those prices: Shocked ) We've never been back.

Also: they didn't have what their menu offered. WTH? I ordered two different things only to be told they were "out". (It didn't have a "seasonal" or "at the chef's whim" marked beside it) And we were there early in the day.

Another reason never to eat food cooked in onions!

Hardee's gets my vote also. Just plain nasty burgers. there is still one open about 10 miles from me.

Hardee's has good breakfast though.

Most of you are going based on one bad experience... what are the restaurants that consistantly disappoint?

McDonalds! I haven't gotten freshly cooked food from there in a long, long time. (And I still eat there like once a month... why?)

I don't know if I can pick just one, but I have to say that any restaurant that is trying to serve something that isn't their specialty is bad. Like going to IHOP for dinner. Or ordering a hamburger at the chinese restaurant.

Dennys consistently disappointed. Olive Garden has been hit or miss. Cattle Company disappointed twice (and since we love Outback we weren't going to give it a third time unless we have coupons for free steak).
