Barry Manilow's New Album Opens at No. 1
NEW YORK - Barry Manilow has landed on the top of the charts with a just-released album for the first time in 29 years.
Manilow's "The Greatest Songs of the Fifties," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Manilow, 62, said he was inspired to sing the 1950s pop classics because he feels they deserve more attention.
"The reason I connected with it is when I looked at the list of songs that came out of the '50s, it seemed to me that they had been neglected," he told Associated Press Television.

If he even tried to, Chuck could end Barry's life using nothing but a Q-tip and a glare.

I like Barry and I even have a "greatest hits" compilation, but does it seem like he's turning into a bit of a Diva?
I watched him on an interview and he seemed like a grumpy old coot.

 | He may have been the first one to get a face transplant, but didn't want the pub.

For the love of Pete...
Why would I pay to listen to Barry sing the top songs of the 50's when I can hear the actual artists sing them?
with that being said, "I'm going hoppin"
