Man, that's just too bad... He should have known better though Speaking of Florida, it would be nice to go down there for a visit or a short stay. Being up north in Canada for so long (about 7 years now), I'm kinda missing the hot humid weather and coconut palm trees that we had back in Singapore.

They saw gators in the water all day and would keep getting out, but the kid that died didn't.
What was going through these kids mind to swim in gator infested water?

We've got plenty of hot, miserably humid weather here in PA....no palm trees or gators though.....I'd trade you in half a heartbeat. I LOVE Canada, especially the Western end. Have you ever done the Sun Run? One of these years I'd love to...if I can ever run again, that is.

Shheesh!! I can't imagine going back into the water after seeing one alligator, let alone several!! Still, that poor boy!
That freaks me out. They've found some in the sewers here (and yes, we are totally inland - they are pets that people have dumped) I hope no one dumps them in the quarry (favorite swimming spot)!

I've lived down here in Fla for 4 years now and have only seen 3 alligators in the wild, and all on the same day.
As for those kids, everyone knows that when you see a gator, you don't go in the water! Much less BACK in the water.

Yeah since Gators are known for moving on...NOT.
We had friends come visit us in Florida who were dying to see gators. We went to this park up the road that we could always find one, and didn't see a one. Later, we had our film developed and Laura was standing right next to one that was peering out of a drainage ditch. Good thing we didn't know that at the time.

Why sure, there's hot, burning hot, inferno, and hades. We have a fifth season here. For one week in March, it's Spring.
