Posted: 11/15/02 - 09:00 Post subject: Survivor Week 9 (A Mugging).
Mini Recap:
The tribes were finally merged on this episode of Survivor: Thailand but the fierce tribe loyalty remained when the Chuay Gahn voted en masse to oust Ken Stafford, the 30-year-old policeman from New York City, from the island.
The second challenge involved individual immunity and became a test of navigating between Clay and Ken. They battled to find 10 tags buried underground using Thai numbers and directions. Clay won the necklace of immunity.
In the end, it was this challenge that set the Sook Jai back. While Jake scrambled to sell his idea of voting out Brian to the Chuay Gahn tribe, the immunity on the Chuay Gahn side had all but guaranteed that a member of Sook Jai would be gone at Tribal Council.
And so was the case. The Chuay Gahn as a 5-strong voting bloc came down hard against Ken, while the Sook Jai united their three votes to oust Ted. And Ken, the policeman from New York City, extinguished his fire and left the island.
This was a classic Season 1 move, by Chuay Gahn as they all knew last week that if the 2 tribes merge, they needed to decided now who to vote off in case the other tribe won immunity. So I believe Ken was their 1st pick, and Penny being their second.

I sure hope they don't take Brian's video out on him in the coming weeks. If they do it for other reasons, fine, but to say that he's rich just because he has a Caddy in the garage, doesn't mean anything. He's a used car salesman, for crying out loud! I sure hope Penny goes soon. She is my least favorite, and has been for quite some time.

Next week you will see the group vote Penny off and then the following week Jake.
There's some uneasyness between Helen/Jan and Ted in general.
But I believe their plan is to get all the SJ members off 1st and then the Alliance within the Alliance will really take off.
Clay needs to be just as snarky as possible without being too much of a threat to Brian.
Helen is the true dark horse of the bunch then Clay.

I am so disappointed they voted off Ken; he was the one I wanted to win. And please dont think that is he happens to strong, muscular and very handsome. If Clay wins I think I will vomit.

I am so tired of Clay's potty mouth. I'm no prude, but boy is it annoying.

I'm turning into a real fan of Clay's. First he fantasizes while staring at Erin, then yesterday he is sporting wood while gazing at Brian's wife on the video. This is a man I can truely respect.

My favorite part was in the beging where Brian was making fun of Ken with the rest of CG members talking about the NY way and "hey Jeff" does my hair look good".
Brian had the Snark out last night.

Now that the tribes have unified...The next 'leader' will be voted off when it gets down to 5 left. that would be mullet-man 'Brian'. Look for Helen to make it to the final 2...
