Posted: 11/25/04 - 23:40 Post subject: Survivor 11-25-2004 9-11: "Surprise and...Surprise Agai
Props to the folks at Television Witout Pity for the title.
All I can say is "WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw it coming and still thought it was not going to happend but the look on Ami's & Julie's face was priceless.
I do have one beef.
Its been established that both Ami & Scout SO are women, and while CBS has no problem showing the smacking of lips with mixed couples, or mother/daughter couples in these reunion episodes. It was odd they would cut out the scenes between Ami & Scout's lovers. Were treated to naked Richard (not once but twice) in past seasons of Survivor, and seen where women are falling out of their buffs. A chicken $hit way to go.
Probst notes that as the last vote was read, there were some smug looks while others looked absolutely shocked. “This game has just been turned on its head.” Yes it has! They finally figured out that rather than targeting Eliza, they needed to get her on their side! Go, Twila! And Leann thought she was a “panic player”?! So much for that. What’s particularly ironic is that Leann, who was against voting out Eliza last time, was the one who brought it up this time. If she had just kept her mouth shut, she would still be in the game.
This definitely one of the all-time great Survivor boots.
Scout, Twila, Eliza, & Chris ------> LeeAnn
Ami, Julie, LeeAnn ---> Eliza
In her final words, Leann says she is floored. She just got done saying immunity was not life-or-death for her and she was fooled big-time (yeah, we know – the irony was not lost on us). She’d love to know who voted for her (that would be Chris, Twila, Scout, and Eliza) because she is “freaking flabbergasted” at how somebody could just lie right to her face. She feels like the world’s biggest idiot.
Next week: Ami isn’t happy (no surprise there) and Chris says the bitterness is gonna be good. Also, the surprises just keep coming, as Probst unveils… something that Eliza seems to really want (I’m guessing a food challenge).
***The nudge Chad gave Sarge as LeeAnn name was read as the next Jury member was classic,
***Give credit to Scout & Twila for keeping a straight face.
***Ami looked liked her empire was crumbling around her.

I thought the whole thing was going to back-fire on Bubba again, but he is playing this pretty cool. And he is right. The women will turn on each other and be snappy right now if they feel threatened by another woman.
If he can win a challenge or two, knock out Ami and Juli, he can almost coast to the final two.
MEN RULE...

Don't know how accurate this is , worth a read.
you decide

the user name is: knightswhosayni from TWOP
Okay, boys and girls, I am (hopefully) about to make up for that gross misinformation about Chad going to the end and Sarge making the family visit. My theory concerns what was said by Peachy pre-season, and it ties in with what I've read nicely.
Before this season started, Jeff said that there would be someone "inspirational" who would "show us that you can do anything you put your mind to." We all thought, "oh it's obviously going to be Chad," but that hasn't seemed to be the case. Well, I've hypothesized with what he was talking about, and blended it together with the spoilers I've read and came up with this.
WHAT IF Chris, in needing so desperately to win immunity at this point, does so all the way to the end and then gets the jury to vote for him? This would also tie in with Jeff comparing this cast to that of Outback - there was an immunity monster then (Colby), and there could very well be one in Chris.
Now for the hardcore evidence that this could be true:
- Leann is next to go.
- Julie was on the list for pre-jury booting, and shouldn't last long.
- Twila, according to that Final 3 source, "couldn't drive herself [that far]."
- Ami was spotted in New Zealand towards the end of filming, thus falling just short of final 3 or 4 (so it's definitely not her in the F3 picture!).
- Scout reportedly finishes third, and Eliza is in the final two.
- In the F3 photo of Scout, Eliza, and the "young man," it was originally believed that J.P. was that guy. Chris can be made to look a lot like him, particularly when he held up the voting card for Sarge (look closely and you'll see similarities).
- There are reports of significant weight loss on Chris's part.
- If Chris got all the way to the end, and then didn't win, the inspiration would be lost. Therefore, he will end up winning if all of this holds true.
With that, here's my boot list, coming from an IMDb user who was right about Sarge and Chad, but has Chris and Leann swapped. Here's the "corrected" version:
7th: Leann
6th: Julie
5th: Twila
4th: Ami
3rd: Scout
2nd: Eliza
SOLE SURVIVOR: Chris
In front of the jury, Chris gets the two guy votes (Sarge and Chad), along with Twila and Scout, because they "just don't like the bish."
The Ami and Twila boots might be reversed, but it's doubtful. CHRIS WILL WIN!!! The guy who shares my name!
