Well I can't get away from it and its actually very cool to have the Super Bowl in my hometown, everywhere ya go, stores, restaurants, etc.. t.v, radio. So I've been soaking up S.B XL atmoshpere, and looking forward to get Downtown to some of the events this week, maybe even spot a celeb or two???
I just wonder what your thoughts are, it being in Detroit, the teams, the hype or do you even care?!?!

I can't believe the cheapest tix are over $2k.
wow.
So much for it being a "blue collar" sport.
I am really excited because I love the Seahawks and the Steelers are mighty amazing this year.

I think it's cool to have an Up Nort game, albeit in a dome.
I'll take Seattle for the 'upset'. Pittsburg has been getting WAY too much hype, and they are destined to lose since I need them to win for $50 in my pocket.

Well, I like both teams.
Both are great coaches.
Pittsburgh seems to be the more physical of the two....but Seattle seems to be the most balanced.
I think this game could go either way.
Who ever does a better job of running the ball is going to have an advantage. (duh. ) Special teams could be big....Randel El is a great punt returner...so that's something to consider before you wager.

All I ask of the football gods is, please, PLEASE - make it an entertaining and relatively close game, regardless of the outcome!
Oh, yeah, and let the teams on the field dictate the outcome, not the officiating.

Both are good at scoring off of turnovers--although I don't see either team allowing many of those.

You think that was going through Cowher's mind? I mean, in Indianapolis? Inside the Colts' five-yard line? First and goal?
Yikes!
But that's a great point, aire - turnovers. Don't forget penalty yardage! Don't give the other team help!
