Let's see...50, heavy rain and a fairly hilly course. Time= thumbs down (33:46) This was simply one of those "I signed up and now I have to do it" races. Builds character, or so I kept telling myself. At some of the downhills the water had risen and we were joking we didn't know this was a swim/run dualathon.

I hate running in rain. I'm impressed you did it at all!

That sounds like a fub race to me as long as I'm not going for a PR. Next time, bring a bar of soap so you can skip the post-race shower.

What, no singing in the rain??? You know what? That's the type of race you could actually just throw out anxiety about PR's and just have fun, which it sounds like you guys did! You rock too! Cool
