14.5 miles 2:20:00. 9:39 pace. A distance PR and a very fast pace given the distance for me.
A bittersweet run today. My Grandpa's birthday today. He died 5 years ago on Fathers Day of lung cancer. I held his hand as he left this world. I really wanted Chicago this year to be my first ever thon. On his birthday. But it was not to be. So this run was for Pop-Pop today. Here's to ya Pop-Pop.

Alpharetta 1/2 marathon at 6:30 this morning. Temps 52, rains until around mile 6. This course is described as scenic with rolling hills. A couple of those hills were pretty significant, around mile 5 and then 11. But I ran them without too much problems.I ran with another runner from the other board and we finished in 2:23:02. No walk breaks in this one.
