4 miles. 4 sucky, "why did I think I was going to just spring back into running after months of cycling, and why is this so painful, and it's hot and humid" miles.

Hey, its a start! Very Happy

About 1:45 of mountain biking. I guess I'm just in much better shape than I was over the summer, but it just felt very easy.

6 miles in 58.16!!
First run in cold weather. Okay, it was 40 and windy. In a month that will feel balmy. I broke out the running tights, 4 shirts and my blaze orange hat. I had to remove one shirt I was way too hot-but it was the only way to get myself out the door was pile on all the clothes.

1st mile 10.55 uphill
2nd mile 9.35 down the hill
3 9.35
4 9.33
5 9.25
6 9.07

Really happy with these runs in the colder weather. And I am consciously trying to push myself, to keep the pace at about 9.30.

5 easy miles. No oomph in my step today. Seen a lot more people than usual said hello to them all, and all but one completely ignored me. Mad I'm gonna get me some new running shirts that say GO F**K YOURSELF!

First try at running since a week ago. Went on the tread so I would know my pace. 3.114 miles in :32.23.00. Splits of 10:47, 10:43, and 10:27. Stiffnes in the legs (which I expected after a week off), but no pain in tendon. This week, I think will go every other day at a slow pace.

On the way back - and even though the skies were clear all afternoon, everything just seemed brighter as I headed home. Smile
