50 feet ... then went back in the house.

Had some snow / ice this morning. Mostly ice around here. Eveyone STILL drives like a maniac and I don't feel safe on the side of the road, even in my neighborhood.

Is it summer yet?

Long (?), slow (?) run today. Again lots of layers, and felt heavy. But it was a sunny day (bit more windy). The run was a triangle, rolling hills, with elevation shifts of just over 100 feet (if you didn't see the G-mpas Pedometer now gives you elevation readings - only good in the States, however).

6.361 miles in :59:18.03 (9:19.35 pace). As the LSD range is 9:30-10:30, and given the hills, I'm happy with the run today.

AZ RnR 2006

Unofficial: 4:26:59

More later with a race report. I just took an icebath...am drinking a beer....and am going to take a nap.

I ran the best I could and did not quit this year. I held a 2:01 halfM. That second half always gets me. I just cannot maintain my pace. Oh well. I did it. I ran the entire time, except for water stations a few of the times.
