Well, the wind was stronger than me today
Managed to get up the hill, but just couldn't run after that, so I walked home.

8 mile trail run. Finally getting some of the old group off the injured list and back out there. Windy as heck, but still fun.

I went cross-country today...I ran on the trail I mowed last weekend, ona meadow that we own. I was rather amused to find a tree had blown over due to Frances coming through earlier in the week, I felt like a true cross country runner, due to the fact that I had to either climb over, under or wade through the tree branches to get by-6 times!
So I ran two miles----geesh that was difficult!! I need to mow the trail again. It's also an up and down meadow, so there's nice challenging hills involved. My quads, already a little sore from 20 miles yesterday, were in protest now!
It was alot of fun.

I'm going to forget that this week ever existed. 5 days off. Let's count 'em...5 days! A record for me! The last time I took 5 days from any sort of exercise was in '01 after the birth of my son.
