Been trying to break 10 miles in the 1:39:00 minutes before the treadmill shuts down. Today was the day, 11 miles 1:39:00. I was shocked at the distance but I had started faster and increased my speed quicker in order to reach my goal today. And then the speed control stuck on the mill the last 20 minutes. Made me go outta my comfort zone and get the additional distance. There was no way I was hittin' that stop button! Abs too.

Nice work! That's awesome! Gotta love when the equipment malfunctions in your favor...

WAY TO GO, COACH! ! !
Go long run today. Hills galore, and I'm getting the smaller ones down good - those who have read my reports in the past know that I've never mastered hills of ANY size. I'm thinking i should try to make my next race one that has them.
A good run too. 10.412 miles in 1:33.42.57 (9:00.86).

Gretriever, any helpful tips you can give on mastering hills would be most welcomed by me, as that's all I run on these days. Quite a change from my last running life!
Nice run!

Nicely done!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to the gym today, 45 minutes core/weight training, ran 1 mile on the treadmill. I'm going to go a bit further Monday or Tuesday, about 1.5 miles and see how the leg feels.
