I did a really short run today.
2.27 miles in 17 minutes.
And to think, just two or three years ago in high school, I was one of those kids that could barely get a ten minute mile (running one mile)
I think I used to weigh 180 pounds when I was younger and now I'm down to 150
Now to check to see if the gym is open.

7.688 miles in 1:03:46.00. Was not keeping splits, but I do know at least a couple of those were at a sub-eight pace. Legs stiff and sore for about a mile and a half - I think it was the weather more than anything (39, winds @ 24, gusting to 30). By the sixth mile, I felt like I could keep going all afternoon. Haven't felt that way on a run for a long time - damn, it felt good !
