4.34 miles in 48 minutes--very windy here. Wanted to get a run in before that big storm front hits us.

First run of substance since Chicago. Only 47 with an 18 MPH steady wind from NW, with gusts to 30.
Very happy with the results - was going to be content with a ten-minute pace, especially as we were running into that wind for the first four miles. 9.634 miles in 1:28:46.00 (9:12.83).

I did the same 9.6 mile route as the Retriever, but I walked about 2.5 of those miles, plus I'm realllllly sloooowww, so it took me 2 hours, 15 minutes.

Considering you ran at least 7.1, and your longest had been 5, that is a big step.

halfM race.
Temps in the mid-40s, sunshine and little wind made for perfect conditions. I've felt burnt in training since my last halfM three weeks back so I was hoping for raceday magic. Was able to hold things together okay through 9-miles but just couldn't convince the legs to keep it up.

won my age group, which out of 24 total runners was almost a slam-dunk, I didn't stick around to see if there were any other 30-something weekend warriors. 6th overall
