4 road cycling miles to warm up the legs
3.55 miles 34:17! Fastest time ever for this route. Maybe it was those 5 or 6 beers and that margarita?

I did a 3.75 mile run.
I run across an old school friend which a haven’t seen in a while. He told that this weekend a guy from our class died in a car accident.
Life can be cruel.

Excellent cross training day.
Mowed new path in meadow so I can start running on some grass. Will walk path later to figure out length. 0.3 mile perimeter. Cool, 3 laps, with a little more for one mile.
Roto-tilled 2 garden beds
Dug up and hauled 3 carts of dried horse manure from our old barn to the garden beds...I'm going to have some great soil for spring.

I want to run, but may not get a chance. Or the motivation to run in the heat...

Easy 13 miles at 6:46 pace. I'm not sure that really counts as a long run, but that equals the longest I've done in 2 years. That got me to 81 for the week, which is also the best total I've had in a couple years so I'm pretty happy with that.

Six miles today, my longest run ever!! After a few ibuprofen and bags of frozen vegetables on my knees for a while afterwards I seem fine. Time 10.31 avg with my splits creeping up consistenly on miles five and six, but I didn't stop once or have stitch problems. Yippee!!
