Nothing for me today. I need a day off to recover from yesterdays long run.

Raining here today, so I put the bike in the trainer and did as much of Spinervals time trial as I could. Rode 19 miles in 1:02.

Nice run Bill!
4 miles for me, more shorts weather herein Ohio. Tough run though, I wonder what the humidity is like, seemed like I could never get my breathing right.

Trail and road running. Not sure of the distance. I'm guessing around 4 slippery miles. Happy New Year, everyone!

Training for CMM begins today.
Forecast - Sunny and 55.
For real - Cloudy, windy and 38.
Went through a lot of forest preserves - this was far and away the longest run since Chicago. Where the paths were sand or dirt, it was very heavy and tough going through. On the positive side, very soft and easy on the legs and ankles. Surprised myself and two deer by coming within 20 feet of them before any of us notice - they left no doubt as they took off that they were whitetails. The first three miles or so were tough, but I got a nice rhythm going from that point to nearly the ten-mile mark. From there it was a cool-down, I imagine. Though with the temperatures it did not take much.
My Chicago pace was a horrid 10:52. As this was my first training run for Nashville, I wanted to get an embarrasingly slow minute and a half slower than that, or 12:22 per mile. I guess I did OK... 10.282 miles in 1:44:26.00, a 10:09.41 pace. A good start.

As much as I hated to, an off day here. Ankle was a bit sore today from yesterday anyway.
