Taking the first week of June off to move and get settled. GOing to Toronto for the weekend in June.
Basically thats all I have planned. Maybe a few weekend trips here and there but nothing too involved. Summer is our busiest time at the office so I usually save my time for fall and xmas

I am constantly berated for not being spontaneous, so I have decided to take two weeks in July and ride off on the Harley to no place in particular. I may stop and visit some lucky RR’s on my odyssey.

I got nuttin'.
Summer is our busiest time at work, which translates into more $ for me, so no time off. Also, I'm still hoping to land a new gig in the near future, which also = no time off.

I'm not terribly big into summer so I usually take my vacation time in the fall. We have a pool here so I gots the sun, water and smell of cocoa butter covered.
Come fall I am hoping to plan a midwest trip, destination unsure yet although I am sure it'll include Madtown! Maybe some shopping in Chicago if I can convince anyone out there to join me.....I'm still sulking about the job that never was out in Madison, so I at least want to console myself with a visit....
Up the coast, a friend and I definitely want to do Nantucket or somewhere up thataway before it gets too cold. I had to cancel a trip to Salem for witching and whale watching last year unexpectedly and I'd still like to make that trip. Plans in progress.

Starting 1 July we begin our cross-country trek that stretches from NorCal to Arizona to NM to Houston to St Louis.
23 days, 3k miles, myriads of in-laws.

Well, my vacation will begin on my birthday...June 2nd.
I have been in contact with my little brother again, after years of not having contact with him at all. He lives in Redondo Beach, CA with his GF...just blocks from where I'll be racing this weekend for the PV (Palos Verdes) Half with a bunch of people from the CH (OB or hahaoya, arc, Watt, jenotter...).
He's invited me to stay with him for the race, which I kindly accepted.
He learned that my children would be gone for 11 days in June and asked if I'd spend time there with him. He lives right on the beach...NO KIDDING! How could I resist an offer like that?
So, I'm going to start building a new relationship with him. I'll get some R&R...time on the beach...and time away. It won't cost me anything but my travel there.
I'm very excited about this. It's time to reach out to family. He's all that I've got as far as sibbings go. We need each other and it's a shame that we've let indifferences go this far. We live so close to one another, it's crazy to be fighting.
So...my vacation is with my little brother.

Well I wanted to hike the Tahoe Rim Trail, but it looks like I may have a real job that won't let me take 3 weeks off. If the money wasn't so worthwhile, I'd quit to do it. Stupid money.

I'd like to go visit my sister and her kids in Michigan. I'm trying to decide if I should drive or just fly and rent a car. With the cost of gas, I'm not sure what is the better deal.
