wow....this is weird...not only does my husband know my sign-on name...but my password?!!!!!
Legs are feeling pretty good today, a little sore in the knees. Of course, when Mike asked how I felt and I said "pretty good....I think I can run tomorrow" I should have expected the following response, "you didn't run hard enough then"
I'm still laughing. Mike has run a few marathons himself which is why the following is ?????? "you really slowed down at mile 23.....did you know that? did you give up? did you do it on purpose"
"yeah, hon, there was a women 15 seconds in front of me at mile 23, I decided it would be rude to pass at this point and I decided to slow down in fear that I may pass her because she was slowing also. "
later another critique: "you were running really funny starting at mile 24--your form was just weird"
So, I guess everyone can gather from the above excerpts what happened yesterday. Basically, I went out a little aggressive....mile 22 I starting paying for it....and at mile 24 (by the sponge ladies), I was praying for the end or just to plop over and claim that it was beyond my power to finish.

Hey Sue! I was watching on the news last night that first place women's finisher's time was 2:48? Is that correct? That means she only beat you out by 10 minutes!!!!
You Rule The School!
(and you make sure you're just as critical with Mike when he runs next weekend! )

Very cool for you sue, sub 3 and change. Maybe you want to rethink being a spectator next weekend eh? Seeing as how you feel good enough to run today Just kidding,.....now you will have the chance to critique Mike's run next weekend, hehehe. Congrats on the sub 3
