Posted: 06/25/06 - 23:51 Post subject: Such a beautiful night
I hate to go to bed. I've spent the past half hour watching the coals in the barbecue pit calm down, then fire up when I play with them, building little twig fires that burn out in under a minute, then starting another off the coals. Had an evening of throwing the football in the alley, grilling pork tenderloins steaks and kabobs. First time making a potato salad and it's one of the best I've ever eaten... everything was so fresh and delicious. We had some freshly brewed iced tea, and I don't think I could've improved the meal at all. Now it's a calm, breezy, and clear night... even cool enough to not sweat in windpants and a long sleeve tshirt to keep the bugs off. So good.

I ran in the morning. I'm too out of shape to run doubles right now.

I ran in the morning. Only crazy people run doubles anyways. |
I hope to be having some Minnesota nights like that soon.

Should be perfect temps for that kind of thing... 50s at night, 70s in the day. When are you leaving?
