When I was driving my series of Oldsmobiles I found out that GM cars during some range of model years (late 80s maybe?) were the most easily stolen vehicles (and thus at the time were on the top 10 list). My good friend and his roommate (both oldsmobile enthusiasts as well or sons of over protective fathers ) had both their oldsmobiles stolen from their apt parking lot within 24 hours of eachother.

Most vehicles are recovered within 24 hours anyway regardless of what lojac says. Althought the condtion is questionable. Most of the cars are stripped for parts. We have about a 95 percent recovery rate. The other 5% are probably overseas somewhere.
