We got 3rd place. What I said last Wednesday about the 3 teams being the best was no joke.
We won Thursday by 36 points over our first round opponents.
Friday we lost to Castlewood by 2 points.
Saturday, we won the 3rd place game against Sully Buttes by 43 points.
In the Championship game, Mitchell Christian beat Castlewood by 5 points in overtime.
So, while it was difficult for the boys to accept the loss, they did prove that they are clearly one of the top 3, and very close to that. Adding in the fact that we have no seniors on our team, we have alot to be proud of.
