My new dietary plan is to cut out the junk food. I've fallen off the wagon here in the last month or so and need to get back on a stricter diet. I've actually put on a few pounds around the mid-section and that's a .

So what constitutes junk food for you? And are you cutting out everything completely?

All these dang cookies we have in the office and what ever else that's crap that finds its way into the office. I don't have to worry about fast food or Cokes, I don't touch that stuff anyway.

I take it you can't educate your cow-workers about good nutrition. Maybe set an example by bringing in some good stuff.

I do bring in good stuff, but when I get done eating all of it and I'm still hungry, I hit the junk food. I've already squelched the desire for my handful of morning double-stuff Oreos. thumbs up

My cow-orkers look up to me for eating right and exercising, but it really doesn't seem to rub off.

Thats funny PH because this past weekend I had decided that today would be the day I start my "diet" too!! And funnier still, its mostly due to the cookies and crap I've been giving in to around my office over the last 1-2 months.

I've gained maybe 2 lbs on the scale but I think I look (and I definitely feel) like I've gained 5-10. So I'm hitting the weights again and eliminating most chocolate and unneccessary crap that I tend to snack on out of procrastination here!

Do you have any big plan of attack?

The Force be with you!

I gave up alcohol and sugar a month ago and have lost 9lbs.

It's worth the effort, running is even more fun Mr. Green

Excuse me, but don't you know that chocolate is one of the 5 major food groups necessary for life? Wink And it's not just for breakfast any more.

So far today I've had
1 banana,
1 glass of milk,
2 apples,
3 whole grain rolls,
1 banana nut muffin,
1 can (6 oz.) Tuna salad w/mustard no mayo
3 stalks celery
2 whole carrots
12 oz. bean & barley soup stuff
3 Double stuff Oreos (lunch dessert)
and 6 Ritz crackers w/peanut butter

That's probably all I will have today.

Razz Ah, yes, well, while I like to agree, it was actually this line of thinking (and perhaps a step further, that one might DIE without it!!!) that has lead to my current, um, roundness...

Its just a short break...my best friend Chocolate and I can't be apart for long!
