You'll NEVER guess who I met!
On my way home last Saturday (a twelve hour jaunt cross country  ) , I happened to spend some time in an airport.
As I was walking towards my gate, I saw someone I recognized and did a whiplash double take.
TED! From Queer Eye! 
I am not interested in famous people although I get nervous around Nobel Prize winners... but who doesn't? But I HAD to go up and talk to him.
So I did! And he was the nicest guy. We got into a conversation and talked for about 20 minutes. He told me all the cool places to go in NYC and I explained stem cells.  I even got his autograph to prove the whole encounter happened.
How cool is that!

I guess that's cool. (I don't know this guy. I know of the show, but have never seen it). Is that as cool as being the cousin of the dad of the drummer from Papa Roach?
What I REALLY want to know is...why did it take TWELVE freakin' hours to fly from NY to CA? You coulda been in Paris for that!
