coach, maybe you can answer this for me. Why, in almost every school, is square dancing a part of the phys-ed curriculum.
And did anyone NOT have it growing up? I still get that afraid feeling when I think of square dancing with this one boy.

We had it in PE in elementary school and I hated it!!! I think Coach would have the expert answer for this one.

Square dancing is what happens whenever I get out on the floor! But no. I never had to do it in school. You flatlanders are strange.

we had to do it in Jr High.
I don't teach it in music class. However, movement is part of my music class. I try to do things in which boys and girls don't have to touch. sometimes facing each other and clapping hands is part of the dance, and they absolutely hate it.
