We had to square dance in elementary and middle school. It was co-ed in elementary, but all girls (PE class) in middle school. Thank goodness Sir Mix a Lot wasn't around then.

My oldest is doing some sort of dancing in gym right now.

She annouced the other day that she DIDN'T WANT TO DANCE WITH ANY BOYS! Twisted Evil I said that I couldn't agree more. Wink "You don't want to dance with any boys for a long time". Wink

Kim knows that she is not allowed to dance with boys until she is at least 35. Plus she told me when she was 3, that she doesn't want to get married b/c she doesn't want to kiss a boy. This should make the teen years a breeze for me

our district still does it in 9th grade.

we always had it in elementary school. i would sit and watch the booger picker of the class in disgust all morning and always always always get partnered with him for the square dance.

or, i'd get the sweaty hands guy. or i'd get the cutest guy in the class and I'd instantly become the sweaty hands girl.

promenade left. WTH is that???? i never ever ever want to promenade anywhere again.
