Let's become vegetarians (as an experiment unless you really like it) and get off the junk (food and drinks).
What say you? We can share our successes, our breakdowns and good recipes. Come on...I know you wanna.
Clarification: No teams, just individual progress.

Can there be room for an aqua-veggie?
Giving up fish would be, well... I can't!

I'm in. If I find something else to eat for lunch, I'm sure I can go the whole day without eating meat. Can't give up milk and eggs though.

if i were childless, i'd be in. i did the vegetarian diet, a la Dean Ornish for years, with my kids and then the endocrinologist almost tarred and feathered me in the square in front of her office kids need lean protein....kids need lean protein...
not going there again. honestly, i think the lean protein has been good for me too.
i couldn't be any more junk-free though. my husband told me i look like a starving person in a third world nation--but he meant it in a good way.

I haven't eaten at a McDonalds or any other fast food restaurants since October and don't plan on doing so. In my experience, it's easier to add vegetarian meals to a healthy diet than to give up meat, it's easier to make 2 meals w/o meat a week than give up on meat...plus runners need protein in their diets and it's not easy to substitute. Good luck!

I'm sure my health and mentality would suffer if I went vegetarian, so NO!
