someone got into my Jeep between 930pm last night and 710 this morning and was rummaging through our things. I went out to grab Will's jacket, and my glovebox was open and stuff was on my seat. I thought maybe Lib had done it looking for something, but I saw that my visor thingy that holds papers & stuff was missing. What kind of jerkoff steals a visor thingy? Leaves perfectly good Reeboks, 2 Britax carseats, a boatload of change, CDs... oh, and youth jacket.
Pissed me off that someone went through our stuff though. I usually lock it up anyway (ok, maybe 50/50, I forget), but now I have to really remember. Or keep nothing of consequence in it.

OMG, that's totally what I thought when I saw the cd's still there. I'm glad they didn't take them, but still, I think they he/she/they suck at thiefdom.

Brie:
What was in your papers that the person took ? Did you have any Credit/Debit card numbers or receipts ? Old Paycheck stubs ? Think about it for a while, you might have a problem on your hands.
If you think any personal info stuff is missing you might want to contact the PD as proof you reported the stuff was stolen.

The only thing I think was in there was a blockbuster keyfob, and I realize I need to get that taken care of, so I'll do that tomorrow. Miscellaneous papers such as mapquest directions, a letter from Kramer from when he interviewed in Charlotte before he got the job and I was a little bit sad about that. Nothing else that I can think of. Certainly not credit card receipts. Those always make it to my wallet, even ones I get with the debit card for gas. I didn't really use the thing, thought I would when I bought it, and mainly got it to hold my sunglasses. Never used it for that function.
Oh, here's a funny though. Last time I pulled paper out of it, when looking for the mapquest directions, it was all goey from a melted airhead candy I'd stuck in there. So I hope the jack@$$ got cherry goop on his hand. Ha! Joke's on him/her, eh?
Funny thing is they didn't take my Happy Bunny dice, which are pretty fub.
They probably heard a noise though, figure that is why nothing else was missing. I'll keep it locked from now on, and will tell the apt manager about it as well.

Cables are cheap, possibly free.

What about the software?
The player is 4 years old, and the drivers aren't available anymore.

Oh, so the value is about 30 cents?
But you can always get old drivers on the internet or from the company. It's probably not an issue.

You've gotten a free pass on this so far brie,...but I think it needs to be pointed out that you have fuzzy dice,...
what kind of fuzzy dice doesn't particularly matter.

Yeah, I wondered how long it was going to take to be acknowledged. I didn't wonder by whom though!

Having your car stolen from right in front of where you live sucks worse.
Sorry to hear about the break-in, Brie. You've gotta lock it up!
