I had a couple of vehicles over the years that would leave world class burn-outs.... my most spectacular skid though left marks on the highway for nearly two weeks. I had two moms and several kids in a mini-van pull out in front of me as I'm cruising along at 55 mph. Jammed the brakes on, skidded sideways and somehow maneuvered around the back of that van and avoided it. I could see kids and the mom in the passenger seat bracing for impact. I almost had a heart attack on the spot and dreamt about it a couple of times. I'm sure there were some skid marks inside that van too...

Now I knew that if anyone would have a spectacular skid story, it would be Rob. I'm just glad I stipulated the type of skid....

I left a large oldsmobile print in someone's front yard once after hydroplaning off the road. I guess that was a skid.
Although as far as skids go, I prefer the "Southern Culture on the" variety.
