Posted: 04/05/04 - 15:58 Post subject: Speaking of crayons...
We were out of town visiting friends for the weekend. The gals head out to pick up pizza, the guys stayed home to watch basketball...er...I mean watch the kids.
We return home and my hubby tells us our adorable child has marked all over the foyer wall in black crayon...... Wouldn't be so bad if our friends hadn't just moved into their house 3 weeks ago.
I can't even believe the kid did that. He's never even colored before, how the heck did he know what to do?????????
New rule, no crayons in this house until he's 12.
Luckily my friend got one of those new magic eraser sponges and it removed the crayon....along with some of the paint. Luckily they are going to repaint that area anyway but still, I'm just so embarrassed!

OH...it was HIS FAULT. He was too glued to the TV watching basketball to notice until he heard the banging of the crayon on the wall eventually.

Don't worry, he's still to young to know better. I wouldn't be embarrased until he's 10 and still doing it.

At least it wasn't done in permanent, black marker.
I don't know who would ever let their son get a hold of one of those...

or their daughter. in her grandmother's home.
that was before I knew of such things as goo gone & that fabulous eraser was created. I have blocked the whole incident out, mostly. I have no idea how we got the wall clean, but I can assure you, we (and when I say we I mean me) got it off, completely.
