Anyone know of a way to test to see if your mouse is dying. Mine seems to be having problems on the double click and when trying to grab and drag. I used the little double click setting in the control panel and that seems to be working okay but otherwise my mouse has gotten very peculiar.

If it is battery operated, check that. If it is optical, sometimes the lens needs cleaning. Otherwise, makes sure the trackball underneath is clean from debris.

Hope the little mouse gets better soon.

If not, hold the appropriate memorial service and go mouse shopping--there's a lot of cool stuff out there.

Since it is a wired optical I will have to try cleaning the lens. I need to crawl under the desk and double check the connection also. The mouse is barely a year old so that is what is erking me the most.
