NO!
Let it display that the updates are ready for downloading, but don't automatically update them. Last I heard this was still a security issue.
Although take this with a grain of salt.
I'm not in IT, I just play IT on the internet...

OK. Then it's OK to download all the ones it says I need?

I usually do, unless it's something for Outlook, which I don't use, or something else that is pretty clearly not going to be used by me.

Yeah. I love big books. Atlas Shrugged is just a bit longer than that, also a great book. Maybe I should read that one again while I'm still on break.

I'd get through 800 pages and put it down, never to be opened again.
Funny, I only ever seem to be able to get about 75-80% of the way through the book before losing interest.

I've still never made it all the way through The Fountainhead. The sad thing is, I like the book and I like the way Rand writes, but I just never make it through the whole thing. I think my best is like 70% through.

That's a sad story!
I finished 2 of Dan Brown's books in just 4 days, total of 1029 pages. I love to read. Of course, I got burnt out reading so much so quickly, and haven't picked up a grown-up book since. But Suess & Christmas themed books I've read much of the past week or so.
