Just on an odd chance, anyone going to South Bend for the Sunburst races first weekend in June?

Maybe. My very first race was the Sunburst race!!! I loved it! They do an excellent job organizing this one, including mile markers and chip timing. I'll have to see what's going on, but, yeah, I'd love to run this one again.

There's a marathon, Mini, 10K and 5K.
I'm doing the Mini, myself.
Overall looks like they anticipate about 6,000 participants.

I ran the 5K the Summer before last...it was my very first race ever and probably my favorite race! Well, close to one of my favorites. They do a great job, all the volunteers and there are quite a few people, at least the year I ran it, cheering you on! Are you thinking of running it, Genie? It is a fun race.

I had a brief brain fart in that direction but I'm really not in racing shape, not by a long shot. Are you coming to Chicago in October? There's a crowd brewing, I just talked to TreKay yesterday and they might come, Tammy's brother lives there, you met him in Madtown--so we may end up having our reunion there!

Inspired by the Relay race report, Genie, is there a relay? We could have a wise ass relay team. LOL! Sorry, Brian, I think we hijacked your thread.
