That was a pretty good game, I thought after ND's first TD it was all over but I hung out all faithful, and waited patiently. It's great when ND fans go quiet, like when they took that TD away that would have given ND 19.

Some woman in the crowd could be heard to yell at that point, "Hey Notre Dame what's the score?" But I've been advised by my attorney not to say who.

By the time they put down the press clippings saying they didn't have to show up tonight to beat WVU, it was too damn late. Mad Mad Mad

Come on, Rob! Don't be so harsh on the run defense! After all, Troy Smith passed for about 350 yds. It's not like the run "D" is to blame for all their woes.

Mr. Green

Did you get a little tired of the whole "He's my little brother/he's my boyfriend" story? Just the kind of thing made for Brent Musberger...what a dope.

Except for a little excitement there in the 4th, that score is deceptive...don't overlook the two blocked field goals nor the sloppy lateral/turnover inside the, what?, five yard line? It easily could've been 47 - 20.

Good thing Charlie got the extension...ho hum...another bowl game, another loss.

Although it's a conference thing (and ND is in no conference), maybe the Irish should try to get into the Motor City Bowl! They could save tons of money in travel expenses. And, best of all, they'd have a better chance to say goodbye to that 0-8 streak.

Yep, the only thing that stopped OSU from scoring every time they had the ball was OSU. Weiss thought he had seen a tough defense earlier in the year in Tennessee.

I believe that it was Brent Dorkberger who made a similar comment, only he referred to USC's defense. He went so far as to say that the OSU defense was the best that ND had seen all year....with the implication that they (OSU) were the tops.

It's always good when a truly overrated team falls.

Especially when it's Notre Dame!

Gotta work on a less-suspect sked....

Charlie Weis became a media darling by winning from the beginning...so did his two predecessors. Now, one's in the booth and the other is with another school. Sure, Charlie got a contract extension but does anyone know about a buy-out clause?

They'll/he'll be okay...but I don't think that they we're as good as their ranking.
