I suck. I'm old. I'm tired.

The outside of my left foot, the bottom of my left foot below my big toe, my left Achilles, right hamstring, and lower back are more than 'uncomfortable' right now. I limped around the office all week, but will still get in over 40 miles. I'm almost out of ice and I'm on the brink of a felony for my interpretation of Advil use.

I ditched the 11x400 workout and took a full day off in hopes of recovering.

Thanks for letting me vent.

OK. I'm old. I'm tired. I'm doing the best I can. I hate ASPHAULT!

It's my right shin, both quads that are throbbing, stiff neck, stiff shoulders, painful blisters on my last two toes on my right foot, toothache on the right upper side of my mouth, headache (due to lack of caffeine consumption), and the sore throat I'm developing from my allergies coming back due to being in Florida. I do have ice and I'm on the brink of a felony for my interpretation of Motrin use.

SO.THERE! Razz

WAAAAAAAA!

Just remember, like a fine wine, you are only improving with age...at least in my book.

All i can say is that I can relate. I'm about two seconds away from popping my leftover painkillers for my feet so that I can sleep, and I can't run at all anymore.

So much for sunny Florida being the cure-all convalescent home.

LOL

I can relate too. Nagging injury since late February. Yesterday was the first day I walked without limping in 4 months. Shocked My problem was joint related though and I made the switch from G/C to Fluid Joint 2 weeks ago. Unbelieveable! thumbs up

I'm great

I'm young

but damn I'm tired

My entire lower left leg, ankle to knee, aches. I'm currently working four different bottles of ibuprofen: office drawer, gym bag, car, regular bag. I'm thinking "this is the beginning of the end and I haven't even STARTED yet." At least today I can walk normal. I took two days off and will resume on Sunday evening with a short run and a long run Monday morning, a day late.

Mr. Green Not toppin you, just venting right along there with you.

It's all relative, I keep telling myself. It's all relative...

Use of Advil is not a felony, unless you switch to, Tylenol #3.

Rest up X

I think Gallow-walking is your only hope at this point.

Hang in there, X.

I had this damn tendonitis, and I thought it would never get better. But - amazing! - it's doing just that. And I'm back running. It's not pretty yet (like it's ever been - ), but it's there. If I can find my way back to the land of the running, anyone can.

thumbs up
